I've reached that age, or that status as a manager, where it dawns on me that it is kind of important to "talk about breeding a health and safety culture". Not the most interesting subjects, and there's always one person in the room that thinks it's all common sense.. which it is. Isn't it? One thing I've learnt over the years of line-managing is that your immediate line managers will inevitably fain disinterest when it suits them, but in the right company become an expert. Don't be that manager!
